i forgot to share but i finished my quilt for my grandma! My mom gave it to her as a Mother's Day gift and she was so happy!
I'm the only grandkid who decided to pick up sewing and crafts, so I'm glad I was able to gift her a personal project even thought I am still new to quilting 😅

Progress so far on my grandma's quilt. I'm laying out the strips i've sewn to figure out the gradient. All that's left to add are the purples and then sew everything else down

I started a new quilt project even tho I haven't finished quilting my bug quilt 🫣
Due to my work I can't go with my mom to visit my grandma so I'm hoping to finish this quilt so my mom can bring it to my grandma as a gift from me 🥹

I glued my folds down to make the quilting easier
but it's definitely gonna take me at least a month to fully quilt the folds down 😅
But i'm so happy to see my cathedral quilt almost complete

10 rows completed only 8 more rows until i've completed the frames and background for my cathedral windows quilt! I'm planning on making my quilt sandwich first before I sew down the frames to make the windows, but I did start planning the layout for my moths since I can't have them all facing up

I had to buy more fabric for my cathedral window quilt and I ended up also buying this fat quarter bundle because the fabrics looked so beautiful 😭 My favorite is this middle one

For those that quilt what are some fun easy patterns you would recommend?
I've been eyeing the cathedral window pattern for my next project, but as a beginner I know it will take me a long time. So I wanted to have a second pattern that I can do when I need a break from my harder project 😅

I always have the bad habit of wanting to start new hobbies, while in the middle of projects. I love learning how to quilt, but my brain wants to learn how to blow glass now 😂
