Plas Newydd exhibition, 2022
Newly created textiles by artist Sarah-Joy Ford reflected the lives of the Ladies Of #Llangollen, the famous residents of #PlasNewydd, North #Wales. Here, a bedspread is lit by coloured light from the stained glass window.

In the arch formed by the horizontal bar is a depiction of a windmill, with the sea behind and pebbles below. A row of pairs of leaves decorates the lower arch. Simple but a very nice way to recognise the building nearby.

Settle Railway Station from 2022
Hello! The TV programme is "Great British Railway Journeys" with Michael Portillo, BBC2. This wonderful station at #Settle is on the very scenic & historic Settle to Carlisle Railway line finished in 1876.

Live Music on TV from 2021
Was able to enjoy the wonder that is "Celtic Connections", normally held in Glasgow, on TV during lockdown. It was a very cheering experience at a sad time. Many of the images were spectacular!

The borders on either side have groups of tulips in different colours and the beds are punctuated with conical conifers and lollipop hollies. It all creates a very pleasing effect.
