First, it is in no way a traditional Superman film; no Christ allegory here. It is however in every way, for better or for worse, a James Gunn movie.

I couldn't sleep last night so I watched Batman Ninja vs Yakuza League, and ended up having a ridiculous amount of fun.

It features a building-sized gatling gun firing gangsters with rocket packs through a dimensional portal into Gotham.

I watched Being John Malkovich for the first time in 20 years thinking it needed a watch through more adult eyes.
