I keep reading that this is a place for kinder people, but gentle souls have always been among us. We just couldn’t hear them anymore. Perhaps our gathering here is proof that we missed those voices. What a wonderful thing to believe about ourselves. It can be a bold move to choose kindness.

I am in Wales UK. I have spent 7 months in hospital, had 10 surgeries, 13 ct scans, 12 x rays, 5 central lines inc a food line. I am on 16 tablets a day for, I even get them delivered. I get 2x a day from carers and 3x visits from nurses a week, I have a physiotherapist visit 2x a week.

Great article except for "We don’t need to agitate for independence the way the Scots do" at the end there.
