Kiwis are brave enough to ban greyhound racing. Why aren’t we?
The NSW government tried to ban greyhound racing, but backed down. Now New Zealand have made the decision.

My home is surrounded by walking tracks. Discovered a new one this morning.
Up through an old mine site.
3kms walk up into the bush and back home.
I like to just walk, feel the sensation of my feet on the ground, and listen to birdsong rather than podcasts.

I love the whole social media thing for the exchange of news and views. I've no problem with disagreements and debate. What makes it TEDIOUS is wading through abuse.
Isn't any group of friends or acquaintances, whether in rl or online, an echo chamber? You hang out with people with shared values and similar opinions out in the cold, hard world so why is it wrong here? 🤔

On Twitter I was hesitant to block. I liked the idea of people unknowingly screaming into the void. And some took blocks as a weird trophy.
Recently I've changed my mind. Not blocking leaves trolls free to use you as a stepping stone to hate on others. So I block more liberally now.
