Two things can be true: 1.) The Game Awards are meaningless and we shouldn't take them all that seriously. 2.) Award shows of its scale DO rewrite the mainstream history of the art form, whether they deserve to or not, and its okay to care that it's so thoughtless despite having that responsibility.

sometimes I miss the tetris days... however large the emphasis on "sometimes" is, there are still times where I just genuinely miss being in the community.
I'm lucky to have contact with at least some of the friends I met there still.

Easily one of my favorite Sonic games ever made and easily the best game from the dark age of Sonic. It was fast, it was fun, the music was amazing, and it gave us my favorite character: Blaze the Cat. I love this game so so much.
