Similar feeling on Tue this week when the sky darkened as a flock of well over 100 Red-legged Partridges flew over the B974 just south of Clatterin Brig near Fettercairn, only 50 in this pic...

While kayaking around Scotland I’ve had a few surprises from dolphins, nothing too disturbing though. However, I’ve never been able to paddle fast enough to catch up or disturb any.
