What looks like a piece of equipment from a 1930s-1940s science fiction film is now installed & operational in our #computermuseum. Designed & made by Pat Murphy in 1987 for his B.Tech in Education at Thomond College #Limerick #UL, its actually a computer desk for #Commodore64 computer & accessories

A few thoughts on academic civility, the paradigm ceasefire, and the challenge posed to critical social psychology by the misdiagnosis of the replicability crisis.

Based on the idea that the Harré quote below would be seen as terribly poor form if uttered by a prominent social psychologist today.
“Experiments are worse than worthless since by breaking up the structure of social action they destroy the phenomena under study.”

Don’t hold back, Rom, tell us what you really think!
"Remember they are wasting their time and that since their work is literally worthless, they should be regarded with a kind of sadness." - have added a letter from Rom Harré to MarkMcDermott to his tribute… likely of interest to #PsySciSky qual methods in particular!
