Walker Buehler exclusively worked out of the stretch in that 1st inning.

It worked for Brayan Bello...

San Diego is wonderful.

The Red Sox play the Padres in the first of 3 starting tonight.

Hope you'll join us on WEEI.

Always an honor to jump into the NESN booth and call @redsox.com baseball.

Big thanks to @willmiddlebrooks.bsky.social and Jahmai and our crew.

(Thanks for the in-game dessert delivery, Benetti)

Mo Vaughn was my first favorite Red Sox player. Then Nomar and Varitek. Then Dustin Pedroia. And, man, I never tire of hearing stories about him. Incredible aura. What a freaking player. Pure Red Sox legend in every way.

Dustin Pedroia called Alex Cora last week. Pedroia's 3 boys had the weekend off from sports, so they decided to come watch Red Sox-Royals.

"He wants to see the Red Sox. But they wanted to meet Bobby Witt too."

Pedroia was Witt's favorite player growing up.

Baseball.

Asked Alex Cora for his best Kristian Campbell story from living life in the big leagues so far:

It's gold.

22 years old in the bigs. Life is good.

Fenway on a Friday. Awesome to be back on the call for the Red Sox, and looking forward to a great season with WEEI.

Jay 🤝 Jay

Awesome time with Jay Williams last night on Big Monday, and a great game in sold-out Boulder.

I will bring my turtleneck next time and go by my real first name.

Learned hockey watching the Bruins.

And in particular games called by Jack Edwards from this booth.

Saturday was neat, keeping the great Sean McDonough’s seat warm, and calling a B’s game for the first time.

Thanks for an incredible time, Australia. Blessed to be part of our ESPN team.
January 24, 2025 at 9:16 PM
Match duration: 4 hours, 49 minutes.

End time: 2:54 AM.

An absolute epic in the Australian Open. 19-year-old Learner Tien upsets Daniil Medvedev.

Incredible to be on the call with Chris Eubanks and our entire ESPN crew.

At the Australian Open, this is the walk players take onto famous Rod Laver Arena.

Greeted by past champions. Bang a left, and you walk out to a packed house of 15,000.

Do not, I repeat: do not, fly through JFK under any circumstances in the winter. You will have to pay state taxes with how long you spend on the tarmac.

I am reminded of a Jed Hoyer quote:

"There comes a point when you trade a prospect for a parade."
