No clue on this one, but I remember noticing when I went a while ago that live theater in the West End was a lot cheaper than Broadway and yet movies were 2 to 3 times as expensive as us. Maybe cultural priorities?

Saw a non-public dataset yesterday that indicated Rhode Island has on average more than double the civic engagement per capita relative to other parts of the country. Those two stats explain a lot about our politics

yeah, who knows? Maybe if he sticks with it and helps a bunch of conservative people moderate or be receptive to democratic positions, or at least break through all the lies, then that would be good. Timing didn’t make it look that way.

Yeah, that was an interesting point about it. Color me a little dubious given how much he has been talked about for a presidential campaign, but also because I think you would start with a lot less controversial figures if you wanted to ease a bipartisan audience into listening to the other side.
