If that doesn't appeal to you, you will hate this game.
Put another way: there is an entire cadre of free tools made by the community to design some production chains. A 2/3rds of the game production chain might look like this :

Why don't you shop on Amazon anymore?
Wellllll because, you know, aside from how they've fucked up publishing and are very shitty as a company.
Their platform is also just REALLY BAD.
I searched for "Tomoe River A5 grid notebook."

In the description, I add any directions for querying. I add any pertinent notes from my research earlier about why my book might vibe. And I add a checklist for everything I will need to compile.

I haven't yet outgrown my small little Joanne's plastic organizers, but when I upgrade it will be to hardware store small part organizers. They're actually cheaper than the flimsier craft-store storage and waaaaay more modular and sturdy af.
Plus, you can downsize to travel with subsets of pieces.

So. Audible did make the announcement of their updated model and the top line they announced was Royalty Rates are increased! Hurrah! But taking a closer look at the article something is (intentionally, I'd bet) obfuscated.

Basically Audible has the Plus plan is the squeeze.
This bad boy right here in the screen shot. Basically 8 bucks a month for a streaming service for all their content in their "plus" catalog okay? That's not bad, right?
Right?
Okay so buckle up.

Hey @writersdigest.bsky.social why uh. Why are you promoting AI tools?
"Use our NEW AI tools to write ads not books" and "it will handle it all for you."
What the hell yo?
(Dear social media person: I know it's not you I hope you have a chill morning and, I dunno, a cookie? You're dope).

And, again. All of this is for the male gaze. They make him super ripped because it is a way to symbolize to the MEN in the audience "Look at Wolverine, he's a badass."
What was the post making the round a few months ago? To see the female gaze look at how Hugh is portrayed on women's magazines.

I've really been enjoying painting and drawing some more intentionally. It's relaxing. Keeping a growth mindset is important.
I didn't think I would even be able to DO something half as nice as this so I'm super pleased with the progress.

A trello board looks like this. I have a long list of columns, basically one for every step of the query process. From "I'm researching them" to "Open" (ie I submitted the query) to "I sent a request in", to ultimately rejected or not. Also a column for did not submit.

Similarly, players need DIRECTION. "You can do ~anything~" isn't... actually helpful.
Open Legend was an RPG system that was GREAT at this: they had a whole slieu of pre-made archetypes between Scifi and Fantasy. Each one said "Do THIS fuckin cool thing."

Like. Look. I get they are a world organization. But also is everyone calling for the dentist unions to call it out? Hi I'm an organization do I need to comment on every world event?

Here's what happens if I put in a list for just "5 mecha anime." Google: Here's ~from Sources Across the Web~, plus lots of Youtube videos. Other results include Reddit, Screenrant, Gamerant, IMDB, plus suggested sources.
Lycos: listicles from actual fandom.

I did a follow up test about a product (a specific spiral notebook). Let's be clear, it's not panacea: there was like literally 10 ads, only some of which were relevant.
But. It was still a HELLUVA lot less distracting than all the crap Google puts in there. Side-by-side comp:
