Months ago, Andy McCarthy was asked if he would pardon his so. We’re he in Biden’s shoes. Andy said yes he would, but added that he’d then resign in acknowledgment that it was an abuse of power. We got something much worse from Biden.

If you are bone weary over political and cultural wars across the country and the world, @mikecosper.bsky.social’s interview with Krista Tippett will feel like healing medicine. Interview of the year, in my opinion.

With Kash Patel named the FBI Director Nominee, all those “principled conservatives” who assured me that Trump 2.0 would be constrained by the grown ups in the room can go jump in a lake.

A great episode this week... aside from the continued bullying from @drmoore.bsky.social
On this week’s holiday episode of The Bulletin, @mikecosper.bsky.social @clarissamoll.bsky.social and I talk about family estrangement, why it’s hard to find contentment, and I take one more shot at Mike for going to that Tammy Faye Bakker show:

I have a family full of theater fans, who are also drama kids and so I’ve seen a lot of theater and a lot of movie musicals. A lot.

I was lukewarm on the stage production of Wicked, which I’ve seen twice.

The film was extraordinary.

I’m the upcoming offseason, The Bears will be volunteering to serve as pallbearers for lifelong Chicago fans. So they can let them down one last time.

(I originally heard this as a Cowboys joke).

If you think the other site is just purely right wing trolls now, say something about Israel or Zionism. There are plenty of left wing trolls ready to pounce.

I actually agree with 1, 2, 4, and 5. (Arrival is perfect.)

I’m neutral on the NBA since Dwayne Wade retired.

6 is David’s real derangement syndrome.
I'm brand new here, so a few introductory thoughts. This account believes:

1) Rings of Power > House of the Dragon
2) Man of Steel is the most underrated superhero movie
3) Grizzlies > errbody
4) Tolkien > Sanderson > Martin
5) Arrival might be the best movie in history
6) Aquaman is sublime
