You’re very welcome, James.
I wonder what Mr. Herriot would think about the current state of our world? Thank goodness for the peace of the countryside.

Utterly heartless. It makes you wonder what happened to them that they have chosen to be callous and vindictive. I just can't understand it.

Utter contempt for any human life not their own. No one will ever convince me this madness is necessary. Never ever.
This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

Lovely photo of Askum at the edge of the waters under that brilliant sky. I’m cheering him on. Such a good boy.

That is the most reprehensible behavior. When I heard they ate lunch and then arrested the employees in Minneapolis, my blood was boiling.

Beautiful! Dirty window, and all! A happy Friday to you.

Wonderful, James! I adore the scenes from Sutton Bank on The Yorkshire Vet. How nice to see it in the snow. Hope you’re bundled up! Praying for your family this week. 🙏🏼

Oh, no! Only 6 miles away. That is scary. I hope and pray it will not come to fruition. No one needs or wants that kind of terror.

Bondi kept deflecting by asking why other AG's didn't do something.

No, Ms. Bondi. YOU do something. That should be your answer to the other AG's who didn't. As a woman, as an attorney, as a human. YOU do something.

Excellent post by @johnpavlovitz.bsky.social

Exhibit #5,462 to prove Trump, Miller, Noem, et. al, care nothing about regular folk. (gift link below)

Bravo, Oakwood! That list of concerns proves Trump, Miller, and their lackeys care nothing for cities and states. They only care about their deprived, immoral mission to ethnically cleanse the country.

Glad you pointed it out. I almost missed it.

Wow. Thanks for sharing this. She’s absolutely right - it’s not only a political issue, it’s a moral one, and more so.
February 12, 2026 at 12:06 PM
This thread from a Minneapolis lawyer working to save immigrants from Trump’s immoral policies is important, especially this part:
People can have different political opinions about immigration policy. Political differences are fine, healthy for a democracy.

But if you’re okay with this, that’s not a political opinion. That is a moral failing.

"I believe he was pardoned."
AG Bondi's response to whether or not a Jan 6th rioter who yelled "Kill 'em!" at Capitol Hill police now works for her.

The contempt by this administration for the law and basic human decency is nauseating.

Why on earth would you fire a gun multiple times at a moving car? This is not Law and Order or NCIS, for crying out loud. These are real, scared humans.
Martin Rascon, a U.S. citizen, shares his harrowing, lawless encounter with ICE: “It felt like we were going to be attacked for no apparent reason.”

ICE is terrorizing our neighbors and communities. It’s long past time for accountability and meaningful reforms.

This movie left me speechless. I hope it wins all the awards. Bravo to these opticians for their contribution.
