Looks like it's going to be a bad night for the coalition in Australia tonight. Dutton is on track to even potentially lose his seat

a refreshingly honest and rather drunk @theverge.com editor happened to be in seoul at the right time and is now live-skeeting the coup attempt. a ‘bluesky has the juice’ moment.
I'm at the National Assembly building. The army is here. And I just saw two soldiers in fatigues getting pushed around by belligerent ajusshis. and they looked legit scared.

Today Christchurch city councilors voted to allow more housing in outer suburbs like Hornby and Belfast but not just outside of the four aves. They limited the city centre walkable zone upzoning to inside the four aves as the IHP surprisingly recommended.

Bike lanes are good for business.

It's so absurd that the parties who promote socially & environmentally damaging policies in the name of it being good for business, somehow refuse to accept the evidence that bike lanes actually are good for business. Its one of the few areas where we could align.

My comments: “With booming numbers of people on bikes, there’s no doubt that a new tunnel must include separated bike lanes and a footpath.” @CyclingActionNZ www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/simeon-br...

TV3 for me will never be better than the way they covered the Christchurch Earthquakes. It was sublime, unrivalled journalism.

All that history and legacy trashed by a multi-national. What a loss.

Just watched the Maiden Speech by Ōtautahi's own Lan Pham from earlier in the week. Incredible! How lucky are we to have such her representing us!

Didn't realise when she was elected to ECAN she received the 3rd highest total of votes that year for any local candidate nz wide. Wow.

Seems like some pretty backwards arguments by NZ Media Companies.

I'm no fan of big tech, but demanding money from another industry because you failed to innovate for the last 10 years is laughable.

Also they dont have to use google or Facebook and can remove their content anytime if they wish
