I am amazed at the restraint shown by 7 million protesters. The fact that nothing close to violence has been reported at 2500 rallies is phenomenal. But let’s give credit to the restraint shown by those on the right as well. Where were the counter protesters?

Michael Johnson argues that the Democrats have been unreasonable in their negotiations. I might have been convinced, but wait, Republicans wrote the bill, passed the bill and now refuse to make any concessions.

I was a Republican for many years before MAGA, but if I were a NC Democratic voter today, I would organize into groups, invade the GOP primaries and vote for Tillis even if I had to do it as a write-in. Crazy, maybe, but the message to Trump is we know how to influence GOP primaries too.

Expect a drop in GDP this month. Projected economic growth for 2025 is 1.4% compared to 2.8% in 2024. Compare these numbers to 8.7% in 1950, before "Trickle-down economics" was invented. Income above $200,000 was taxed at 91% and the middle class flourished.

In every one of my 80 years, politicians have claimed to reduce Federal taxes. Since 1950 they have reduced taxes on average Americans from 6.4% (on $3,300 income) to 13.3% (on $61,984 income). And yet we continue to believe them?

NICE (Not Immigration and Customs Enforcement) vest ID placards to be worn while escorting immigrants from Courthouses after reporting for mandatory hearings in groups of 20 or so. No physical confrontations.

#CommonGround I'm calling on influential moderates on both sides to get together and find common ground. Arguing with my brother, a Trump supporter, has been frustrating, until I realized how much we agree on. I guess we are both single issue voters.

#Polarization is not entirely our fault. Elections really are rigged, just not how you think. You see, our Plurality voting method favors extremists. The answer is #OpenPrimaries, open to all voters regardless of party affiliation, but this video shows why choosing the right voting method is vital.
