Where were the extremists trying to provoke violence? Certainly Trump’s prediction of violence was a call to his supporters to prove him right. I think their restraint is a message to Trump that he has gone way too far.

Isn’t that the definition of unreasonable? I would ask them to name one significant concession they have offered other than kicking the can down the road again.

According to the U.S. government's foreign assistance data, the highest amount of financial assistance provided to Canada in a single fiscal year since 2001 was $35.1 million. In the most recent fiscal year, 2022, the U.S. sent $32 million in foreign assistance to Canada.

When I wrote this article, I didn't really think anyone would buy his persecution ploy, but I was trying to find #CommonGround with my brother, a stanch Trump supporter. I thought we might all agree that a government dedicated to revenge would be undesirable. His response was:
