Years ago I remember a colleague lamenting the challenge of ever increasing revenue for education because constitutionally, Colorado has to have a statewide vote on any initiative to raise income tax. This is incredible work that’s a long time coming.

We have a $14B surplus… We aren’t bailing out Washington, we’re bailing out Georgians. 1 in 8 Georgians are on SNAP. ATL is the world’s busiest airport. We have some of the lowest literacy rates in the country. If this isn’t a rainy day, what is?
