Twitter is the world’s largest generator of CSAM & non-consensual porn by a margin of about 8000%, and somehow… MSM isn’t even reporting on it.

(also includes advice for reporting ‘deepfake harassment’ to police if it escalates to a point where restraining order is necessary)

I've been testing Grok vs. ChatGPT and how they compare when generating deepfakes.
- ask the chatbot to search the web for photos of me and then regenerate me in a bikini: Grok complies; ChatGPT refuses
- upload a photo of myself (not id'ing as a public figure): Grok complies; ChatGPT refuses

I've always loved this line from Apollo 13, and it turns out it's right from the voice recordings!

Full documentary us a deep dive through the mission audio, and it's full of really interesting little moments just like this.

Probably the most ambitious video I've ever made as a person at a desk: a 2.5 hour dive into Apollo 13 using mostly voice recordings!

I had a ton of fun putting this together, and I hope you love going on board with the crew!

Failure Was Never an Option: the True Story of Apollo 13
There are many ways to tell this story, many lenses through which to narrate, and so many details that I couldn't fit in even at this length. This is by no means exhaustive. I just hope it brings you…

I don't recall off hand who made the point about AI being, more than anything else, a machine for displacing responsibility. That increasingly looks like its most reliable feature
This is a thread of major media outlets falsely anthropomorphising the "Grok" chatbot program and in doing so, actively and directly removing responsibility and accountability from individual people working at X who created a child pornography generator (Elon Musk, Nikita Bier etc)

call me crazy but it really feels like “World’s Richest Man Creates AI Chatbot That Generates Child Porn” would’ve been a huge international outrage requiring a governmental crackdown not even 24 months ago

Can someone make it culturally legible that a top Republican voice in the country thinks it’s very fun that he runs a non-consensual porn bot platform?

Are most republicans just unaware of this?

Thinking of those for whom this time of year is difficult, unsafe, or demoralising. Domestic abuse rates rise around the holidays, and it can feel impossible to cope, particularly when you can't be honest about what you're experiencing, and there's an added expectation of joy.

I've seen this said a couple of times today and now want team jerseys that say "Genie Stuffers" on them
Why is it that tech and AI boosters keep saying "you can't put the genie back in the bottle" when making arguments about AI's supposed inevitable dominance? Did they not read the story? The genie does, indeed, go back in the bottle. Maybe we should start there.
