I'll have to do that, especially for those bands where I only have a few tracks that were never national acts, but I'd cut someone for more music by. Example: one band is "Myhouseisonfire". I want to say they were from Iowa. Their music? Acousticore. I love it so much and only have two tracks.

I'm falling back through a hole to the late 90s - early 2000s as I'm listening to some of this. Looking up some of these bands, I'm shocked to see that an obscure second wave black metal band from Sweden is still actively being sold on Amazon. I don't know of anyone else that's ever heard of them.

I think my hardest part is going to be finding albums that I have in completion, I'm finding all these albums where I only have, probably, half the tracks still. Or, the worst, when there's not a track number listed, so I can't look up the proper order anymore. *shakes fist at past self*

That is really cool! I knew Erie via the ol' FB. My spouse and I know Steven and Donna from Ego Likeness, and from us both commenting on Steven's posts, I ended up chatting with Erie directly from time to time. Always struck me as a really nice guy that's a lot of fun to be around.

Oh nice, I'm going to have to work through all the albums I have from back in the mp3[.]com days and upload them. Also, I haven't heard Erie mentioned in a while. He's a really friendly guy. I've got a copy of Esther Black's first album around here somewhere. It used to live in my car.

Dead Like Me was a solid show. I should rewatch it. For me, I always recommend The Fades to people, even though it's only one season. The ending leaves you demanding a second season that, unfortunately, never came.

And let's face it, every D&D player at one point or another wonders, "huh, we never stop for bathroom breaks... is that part of our long rest? Where would we even go? Behind a bush? Does the tavern have a latrine? Is there an outhouse behind the dungeon? ...can I wipe my ass with mage hand?"

I'm still even rocking Winamp. Could never justify the streaming subscription costs when I was strapped for cash all the time, and then, it just kind of kept on that way. I now also realize I don't have a backup of all my MP3s that isn't at least five years old... shit. Guess what I'm doing tonight.

Having taken the test, because work requires me to have it for my role, it was one of the easiest cert tests I've ever taken. I just approached most questions as, "if I were a manager that I'd want to stab in the throat with a fork, how would I answer this question?" Turns out, that's the trick. 🤷
