This year I went from: mom house to hospital to hostel to transitional house to hotel to bad women’s shelter to okay couple’s shelter to good shelter to bad women’s shelter again to bike path to good shelter again and now I live in a house renting two entire floors… life, finds a way

When I was staying in the women’s shelter before going to the co-ed shelter I was walking out the door one day while an older woman was coming in and she went ‘aw you’re so cute!’ then looked at the doorman and said ‘isn’t she cute?’ and he said ‘yes. May glory be to god’ and it was… an experience
