I was considering it! I was thinking of making one pagers of the people I met, some would be funny and some would be sad, just like my time there

Thank you so much, people don’t realize how terrible many shelters are, the first one I was at kicked everyone out in the morning and we’d have to wait hours to be allowed back in… luckily the last one I was in let people stay in all day, but there were still so many restrictions

1.5 hours for an ambulance? Homeless people are never medical priorities

Another instance of homeless person hate was when our 70 year old friend was having a medical emergency and couldn’t get off the ground… we waited with him for an ambulance, who said they would be there in 1.5 hours (lol) and these people in an Escalade drove by shouting ‘have a good sleep!’
