Law Enforcement? I don't think so. There is always a voice in the wilderness to warn us.
Maria has been accused over the years of fabricating her story that she had gone to the FBI. After finding the document in the trove, I called her. She broke down in tears.

“I’ve waited 30 years. I can’t believe it. They can’t call me a liar anymore.”

It's one of the most beautiful things I've ever watched but I don't know if I can do it twice. I do want to buy it to have in case I bave a brave day. I've also seen it on free streamer Pluto.
‘Moonlight’ (2016) is now available to watch for free (with ads) on YouTube.

🔔: It is also streaming on Tubi.

Don't make me tap the sign.
The distance between “extrajudicial killing of suspected drug smugglers” and “extrajudicial killing of suspected antifa” is shorter than you think.

A chap with one of the most eclectic and fascinating filmographies, chosen with almost a scattershot manner - reading his Wikipedia is an exercise in randomness. But what he brought to each role was unmistakably Udo Kier. Want to explain to someone when you say an actor has ‘it’? Show them Udo. RIP.
I am being completely sincere when I say that Udo Kier’s performance as Professor Pericles on SCOOBY-DOO: MYSTERY INCORPORATED is easily in his top 5 best roles.

RIP to one of the greats.

By Jason Delgado Altered is a fun indie sci-fi adventure about a world where genetic enhancements have become the norm, and rebels played by Tom Felton (Harry Potter franchise) and Elizaveta Bugulova (aka Lizzy) challenge the system that exploits them. It is up to these few brave souls to level the playing field for everyone, but every revolution has its cost.

Oh, look: actual actors in actual makeup, applied by actual artisans, facing off against a CG creature animated by talented VFX artists. All of which have been paid and keeping them in pot noodles for a month.

See how this works? AI can go fuck itself.

Newport Beach Film Festival 2025 First Look
By Jason Delgado The glamorous Newport Beach Film Festival will be back again on October 16-23, featuring many amazing filmmakers, actors and actresses, and films to see. Scarlett Johansson, Mark Hamill, Brendan Fraser, Rian Johnson, Tessa Thompson, and Diane Liane are amongst those who are being honored for their work.  There are numerous films about which to be excited at the festival, with not one, but two, from a great filmmaker of our time: Richard Linklater (Dazed and Confused, The Before trilogy).
