I’m just incredibly pissed off at the state of the world and all the enormous assholes that got us to this point.

Holiday viewing recommendation: Forget Hallmark movies and watch (or rewatch) Ken Burns’ The US and The Holocaust. More timely than ever. Lean hard into the discomfort you feel when you recognize the parallels with today.
I also rewatched The Vietnam War series. Feeling a lot of ways about America.

Did you know that Elon and Trump want to start using the same AI claim denial process used by United Health at the Department of Veterans Affairs?

Just thought you might want to know.

I made the mistake of driving through the car wash with Rosie in the car. She was TERRIFIED. She is not ready to forgive me yet.

Please remember there are billionaires spending money on outrage media to make you mad at federal civil servants instead of the Supreme Court they bought. Please save your outrage for the actual fascists.

The Trump ordeal has made one thing clear.

Too many of our checks and balances rely on norms, traditions and the honor code.

It works when those elected into power are people of honor and integrity who respect our norms and traditions.

Elect a lifelong criminal and it all goes sideways.

Wrapped my dog in this towel after her bath and told her that it was my favorite towel from my grandma’s house when I was a kid. I always tell her how much she and my grandma would have loved each other. I think she understands. ❤️

What I wanted to convey to my therapist: Since my dad and grandma died 10 years ago, it’s hard for me to fully feel and process strong negative emotions, and I sometimes feel numb.
How it came out of my mouth: My grief machine is broken.
