I think many of us were holding our breath for him because ack.

I bet his staff had frank talks about the risks, but that makes the fact that he went anyway all the braver.

That was my thought too. But still: thanking God for proof of life as an important next step and praying that they’ll all be home soon. May this be the moment the tide turned.
