I have encountered this face to face and it’s so difficult to respond to. I have not found a solution other than just slow blinking and walking away. The certainty is astounding.

Organizing is on every one of us. It can be as small as checking in on your neighbors and creating an emergency phone tree if someone needs help. It can be identifying needs where you live and working with others to fill them. It can be a community pod that shares resources.

But the idea that you, as an individual, can solve the world’s problems is bullshit. You do not need to solve the world’s problems.

You just need to see a problem that you can solve and try to solve it, and then that’s one less problem.

If lots of us do that, it’s a lot less problems.

I know that in the coming years there are going to be a lot of heart-breaking problems we will not be able to handle. It is awful.
