When men speak their minds, they’re considered to be assertive.
When women speak their minds, they’re considered to be aggressive.
Speak your mind. Be a leader. F*ck the patriarchy.

When our military is compromised

Intelligence compromised.

Health compromised

Education compromised

The Justice system compromised

When we lose our moral standing and place of excellence in the 🌎

Truth & liberty are scarce
And freedom is a memory

Will they know they never owned the libs?

Maybe someday, women in America will have as many rights as guns do.

Daily reminder that immigrants — undocumented and documented — are not the enemy.

Billionaires and CEOs gutting our pensions, making our workplaces less safe, and trying to divide our movement are.

Boys will be what they’re taught. While we teach compassion, others push harmful agendas that strip autonomy and normalize inequality. Let’s resist: my body, my choice, my rights, my future. Teach accountability, not oppression. #Resist #Equity #MyBodyMyChoice

They’re letting women who are miscarrying die from sepsis and forcing rape survivors to carry their rapist’s babies to term.
They’re promising to repeal the Affordable Care Act with nothing to replace it.
If anyone is teaching a fear of pregnancy, it’s them.

Indeed. When they rounded up the Japanese Americans, myself and my family included, for internment during WWII out of fear over Japanese spies and saboteurs, two thirds of us were U.S. citizens.

Don’t think it won’t happen again when they come for the “undocumented.”

The “sacred pause” resonates with me as I struggle to step back when facing injustices. I’m learning to pause and find my footing—not to ignore what’s wrong, but to channel my emotions into purposeful action. This space helps me respond with clarity, turning urgency into meaningful momentum.
The philosopher Viktor Frankl said, “Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” Buddhists have a name for that space: the sacred pause.
The sacred pause between the election and what comes next
There are plenty of fires to fight right now in America, but there’s a fire inside you, too. Appreciate this sacred pause—this space between fires—and let your flame find its way.
