The hesitation to oppose Gaetz reflects political tribalism, fear of Trump’s influence, and power over principle. Many fear alienating Trump’s base or facing backlash, prioritizing loyalty over addressing serious allegations. It’s less moral dilemma, more calculated survival in a toxic system.
