This is me after being pepper sprayed by SPPD. The crowd was noisy but completely nonviolent. There was a lot of anger but no violence from the crowd- SPPD escalated.

Impeach, convict, remove.
Impeach, convict, remove.

And if our current leaders won’t do it, they need to step aside for people who will.

We’re about to invade Venezuela because trump wants their oil. No other reason. The airspace has been cleared. Embassies are being evacuated. Flights are being canceled.

He’s going to kill people for oil.

I probably would've picked a different route but what do I know.

Venezuela is where my dad ran off to after high school to see what life was like outside of rural Iowa. He ended up staying in Caracas for 9 months and he's still fluent in Spanish and pronounces yo like jo. I'll probably never visit but I've always been distantly fond of the country.

Down with Home Depot. Hope it nosedives.
Protesters in Monrovia, California, are buying 17¢ ICE scrapers at Home Depot and returning them instantly to choke the lines and slow the whole store down.

@robsandia.bsky.social , next governor of Iowa, not only hunts, he donates the meat to the Iowa Food Bank (photo cred.).
He ain't no hoity toity that collects guns and only takes them out for weirdly tone-deaf family Christmas cards.
And he's going to help preserve the land for hunters AND farmers.

Tonight I'm looking through my grandfather's high school yearbook from Comanche, Oklahoma.

I'm blown away by this photo of the football team lined up on the dirt of main street, 101 years ago.

Fair, and I bet Mechanical Turk is indeed the absolute worst when it comes to complexity or quality of work (or employees) ((especially 2 years ago)). On the other hand, despite my degree, it wasn't until this work came along that I was able to do high school math in my pajamas for $40 an hour.

And also I kind of expected a statement of support from Massie by now. She just died on the hill that was his bill after all.
I'm extremely surprised by how quickly Marjorie fled once she faced serious opposition from maga base colleagues and constituents. I thought she had way more fight in her. All crossfit and no confidence.

I think the President of the US responding to a question about the murder of a journalist with "A lot of people didn't like that gentleman" is probably pretty bad.
