If it were that simple, all the authoritarians throughout history would not have been successful. The problem is the masses of people. Sure, a lot of us are anti-Trump, but there remains an embarrassingly large number of people who are still with him.
Trump is doing things presidents have never done. We do things we have never had to do to stop him. He rewrites and we rewrite better and faster. C’mon. Let him inspire US to act faster and smarter. Because we can. They are inept. We have the law on our side. We just have to claim it. Right?

I think Trump didn't think he had to deliver and probably never intended to. Remember: he needed to win the presidency to stay out of prison. Mission accomplished. Now he can't run again and he doesn't care who he's let down.
One thing Trump and his team obviously never realized: At some point they had to deliver on the promises that they made...you and I knew that he never would because he's an incompetent buffoon, but now even the sharper MAGA people are realizing Trump is a con man.

I didn't vote for Trump either time, not because he ran under the Republican banner, but because I knew what kind of man he was. He's proven me right in so many ways during his second term in office, it's sickening and demoralizing to see what he's done to our once proud nation. 🗽
