I picked up this matryoshka from a Ukrainian vendor at a Baltimore art market in 2017. Eight years later, not much has changed. Maybe not even in the 86 years since the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact.

So MapQuest still exists and is good, but the bigger story is what happens when you search Google for “Chicxulub crater.” I won’t pretend I remembered the spelling.

I'm old enough to remember calls for letting New Orleans drown coming from within our own state — even then.
This will end badly for LA one day. When it does, Mike will be gone from the House, earning big bucks as a lobbyist, and the ordinary people who'll get no help rebuilding after a monster hurricane will not understand that people like him politicized disaster relief and are to blame for their misery.
