New Orleans has had the fewest murders this year since 1970. Carjackings are down 80% relative to 2022, vehicle burglaries are down 70%, shootings are down 63%. This is a wholly unnecessary stunt that will hurt local businesses.
#BREAKING

“Building a dual state need not end in genocide: Russia and Singapore have followed the same model of the dual state … as the Nazis did. Their deepest similarity, rather, is that both are intolerant of political dissent and leave the overwhelming majority of citizens alone.”

I picked up this matryoshka from a Ukrainian vendor at a Baltimore art market in 2017. Eight years later, not much has changed. Maybe not even in the 86 years since the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact.

So MapQuest still exists and is good, but the bigger story is what happens when you search Google for “Chicxulub crater.” I won’t pretend I remembered the spelling.

I'm old enough to remember calls for letting New Orleans drown coming from within our own state — even then.
This will end badly for LA one day. When it does, Mike will be gone from the House, earning big bucks as a lobbyist, and the ordinary people who'll get no help rebuilding after a monster hurricane will not understand that people like him politicized disaster relief and are to blame for their misery.
JUST IN: Speaker Johnson says Congress should impose conditions on disaster aid to California.

11.4 Million dollars. For 200 People. For 2 months.

You could give that to them in cash and it would be a fucking down payment on a house. But the point is not solving homelessness. The point has always been cruelty
