@adamtexdavis.bsky.social I recently watched a movie “Fearless” with Jeff Bridges and Rosie Perez. Have you seen it? It’s really stayed with me. I love romance, of course, but sometimes it’s more impressive to show development of a deep platonic intimacy between unlikely people.

@adamtexdavis.bsky.social 1986….I was 16, sigh. A couple more—“Mona Lisa” with Bob Hoskins really touched me. Also “Down by Law,” and Spike Lee’s debut “She’s Gotta Have it.” A bit rough around the edges, but it felt novel and inspiring. Especially since he made it for almost nothing.
