If we have been in solidarity with someone’s grief, why would we not allow ourselves to be vulnerable alongside them in their hope and joy?

Why on earth would you not share in their joy, and trust in their joy? Why do you have to be more cynical and protect your heart more than any mother in Gaza, or than Einav Zangauker?! 4/x

Because for two years, they’ve worked for to save the lives of their children. It’s been largely a women- and parent-led movement against two governments who refused to listen or express a shred of any accountability to their people. 3/x

More will doubtlessly die even if food and medicine (please Gd) flow into Gaza.

Trump and Netanyahu keep saying the “wrong” number of hostages in public speeches and it’s terrifying for these families. But people were singing and hugging in and crying in Gaza and in Kikar Hatufim last night. 2/x
