We just prevented the World Zionist Organization from funding any Israeli settlement in Gaza. The Meretz-backed union at the World Zionist Congress ran this resolution, and I’m beyond proud of @partners4israel.bsky.social and @hatikvahslate.bsky.social right now!

THIS is why we stay in the room.

This kind of zero-sum thinking makes for good clickbait 🙄 but this is a historic moment for Palestinians AND Israelis.

This recognition means an international commitment to an end to Hamas in power in Gaza, self-determination for Israelis and Palestinians alike, and human rights for all.

This kind of media analysis belies the millions of “incentives” to stop: civilians spending the night in shelters in Israel, Iran, and the West Bank; millions of starving Gazans; the casual cruelty of these regimes who care so little for their peoples. Diplomacy Now.
