About as reasonable an awkward chuff as you are ever likely to meet. Life, politics, #lufc and quality beer smothered in unsubtle sarcasm.
I tend to find the most objective data is the score at FT. I also know you under-estimate the power of supporters observations at your pearl (would love to know which 6 games DF is referring to?).
DF: "If you judge objective data, we were in six games the better side, but without the points. More individual quality, means moments like Rogers's on Sunday or a perfect tackle. I said what we needed in the summer to be competitive. I said I will not complain once about the window." #lufc

That’s the right way round for a labour budget.

On #lufc matters, it is quite reasonable to be pleased for Farke on a personal level that he isn't yet unemployed and still expect as a consequence us to be 19th by the Brentford game, heading for the Championship and replicating the same mistakes made in 22-23 with Marsch!

Although the bonus ball of today's OBR cock up is how it royally exposes how our Parliament is unfit for purpose and how the Speaker system is still trying to impose Victorian attitudes on a 21st century world. Pathetic and getting more so by the day.
Although even I wasn't expecting them to do it quite so spectacularly.....
It doesn't matter what rabbits Reeves pulls out of the bag today, the children in the Government press corps and the off the record chirpers will lose control of the news agenda by 1pm.

I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

If you are not following @btngnrtn.bsky.social you should be. A consequence of relegation will be our hedge-fund owners bailing and Red Bull happily stepping in on the cheap. #lufc

2nd lowest scorers in the PL 25-26 (average 0.9 goals a game), 4th most conceded (average 1.8 goals a game). Points average also 0.9. Regardless of your Farke position, it is very clear that our approach (play long, press a bit, rely on dead balls) isn't working. And won't work next 3 games. #lufc

In the cold light of day the case for retaining Farke looks even less sustainable but as I indicated yesterday I don't believe our hedge-fund owners could find anyone skilled enough to improve the lacking squad they botched putting together over the summer. #lufc

Something that gets missed this season is that whenever we flood the forward line for the last 20 minutes of a home game, like Spurs and today with Villa, we create bugger all shots on target! #lufc
November 23, 2025 at 8:11 PM
And there lies our problem, either with Farke or not. #lufc
So to clarify, that midfield and wide attackers 5, that is struggling all season to create chances, is starting v Villa in a hope it creates chances? #lufc

I don't want to dislike Farke but he seriously has to stop talking bollocks after defeats. #lufc

Dear DF: fuck off with the gaslighting. #lufc
DF: "He represents so many skills we want for Leeds United. He works his socks off, gives everything for the team, relentless work, not perfect, but gives always everything. It's more than unfair. In his last three performances, he was always covering 13km per game." #lufc

Also want to add, regardless of him being on a yellow, to take off Tanaka, our best progressive midfielder, whilst keeping on Brenden "Cul-de-sac" Aaronson, at 1-1, was what exposed Farke's PL levels of analism. I loved his teams in the Championship, I hate them in the PL. #lufc
Not only will we be 19th by the time we play Brentford, but frankly, the main case for replacing Farke is based on maybe playing better open play football. However, we are getting relegated regardless because that squad isn't good enough. And for that we blame hedge fund owners! #lufc

The Devil Inside

While anxiety exists over what the future may bring, looming large over our football club is a brand that already overshadows and undermines much of what #LUFC is, and the great work that it does.

Denmark is such a red herring (yes, I get the irony) in terms of the UK's intended Asylum policy, we are x12 times the population size and have 20x the diversity. The real questions need to be about the core principles around these proposals, and presently, they look conspicuous by their absence.

All policy decisions motivated by poll ratings, regardless of whether their is or is not any merit in the details, are doomed to fail as policy and poll boosts. Policy based on long-established principles, however, does generate good policy. We will be seeing the former on Monday!
