Most elections in Canada I hear people saying “if only we had better choices… are these the best options we have?” Finally, I believe we have a GREAT choice with Mark Carney.

This territorial expansion ‘joke’ Trump keeps making about Canada, Panama, and Greenland ought to be taken more seriously. Putin is Trump’s role model. And Trump seems pretty much okay with the idea that Russia has earned some of Ukraine.

One of the best things I’ve ever done is travel and spend quality time with fellow Jesus-followers in places like Kenya, Cuba, Palestine, and Lebanon. I have seen what good Biblical theology looks like applied in love and compassion to the poor. It’s beautiful.

It’s startling how few people on @bsky.app seem to understand that white American evangelical christian nationalism does not represent the majority of the Christian religion globally.

I was excited that @bsky.app was a pleasant and kind alternative to X, but I feel like it’s turning into X for the left. My feed on Christianity is just post after post of people bashing religion.

There is something very Christlike about pardons for repentant criminals, especially those who committed their crimes at their lowest point. I hope Biden will find more opportunities to extend the grace of a presidential pardon before his term is up.
