This is just cruel and completely unnecessary, if Labour thinks that this is a vote winner they are very much mistaken. Deform / Tories will hate them no matter if they do make it as tough as possible on immigration, and this will push Labour voters to the Lib Dem’s, Greens, PC, SNP etc.

My great grandad was a refugee. Worked in the horrendous sugar industry in the east end.His son my grandad was a royal marine who died on his 40th birthday in WW1. His son my uncle died at El Alamein. Both died for this country.That’s where their ‘golden ticket’ led and I couldn’t be prouder of them

Westminster Abbey (and Houses of Parliament) are actually built on an island IN the Thames and then we just built roads over the bit of water and then buildings on top of that and now the whole thing looks solid but god forbid the Thames Barrier fails
While we’re on the subject, I take is Westminster Abbey is completely safe? I mean, not built in a swamp, or at the outer limits of what arches can do, or anything? (Asking for a friend who works nearby).
