Arc Raiders has climbed to the 14th place in my most hours played on Steam in just over 2 weeks time since release. 8 hours from beating DayZ. It has some way to go to beat my PUBG hours, but I feel it'll get there. Not sure if it'll ever beat Escape from Tarkov, but if Embark does well, it might.

Watching Hasan on the Chinese version of YouTube, Bilibili with translator on is a very interesting experience. Hasan is getting some great traction there and has been embraced as "Lemon Bro", since the Chinese audience likes to nickname live streamers.

I do want to congratulate @battlestategames.bsky.social on the v1.0 release of ESCAPE from TARKOV today. It's been 10 years of growing the game and community. Creating THE blueprint for the "Extraction Shooter" genre. It's one of the most authentic and engaging military FPS experiences you can play.

Today I finished all current main quests and completed the unlock Deck in #ArcRaiders at 85 hours. But there's still a Queen to kill, skills to unlock and stations to upgrade. Playing a hired gun, helping my friends. Incredible PVPVE game that has a bright future if it keeps up quality and content.

The "IT: Welcome To Derry" show is pretty great so far. It's a prequel that feels like it could've been written by Stephen King himself. King did help out the creators, gave them his notes and approved all plot points, making this a canon story. And there's links to other King stories as well.

More shots from #Arcraiders. Players have definitely settled in and upgraded their gear over the weekend as fights are becoming more deadly and their weapons's impact become heavier. And we're picking fights with the larger Arc threats too.

#ArcRaiders keeps stunning me with it's presentation. There's a great variety in landscapes, weather, atmosphere and the environmental storytelling is top tier. Also, F10 removes the HUD. It's not a Photo mode (yet), but you can still make pretty screenshots with it.

#ArcRaiders, my contender for game of the year is finally here. Only a few hours in but it has it's metal claws in me already. It's been a really stable launch for a online game that has been skyrocketing in popularity. I'm enjoying it a lot so far and I already met a lot of diplomatic raiders.

I love the work you guys do, but please stop using generative AI to promote yourself. the visuals are broken, steals from artists and using it is bad for the environment. Why not bring some awareness to some amazing artists who are disabled? Avoid having a ugly watermark pop up every few seconds.

I know I'll be deep into Arc Raiders soon... but I saw this charming parody of another popular extraction shooter that also seems to be a great extraction shooter on it's own. And this one is PVE only, so a bit more chill to play listing to a podcast or live stream. Their 12% discount ends the 30th.

I LOVE these community made fixes. They work out of the box. This is the sort of stuff that sites like GOG need to add to their releases. A few screenies of my own:

Played for 5 hours. Got the hang of the game's flow and use of gear/skills. It's chaotic, fast-paced and explosive. Especially when every team is trying to steal the vaults. There's a lot of fun using the destruction to your advantage and bring objectives to you by destroying whole floors. Fun game.

There's a lot of fun using the destruction to your advantage and bring objectives to you by destroying whole floors. Fun game.
I still can't believe Epic actually "buried" the entire series completely. Removed from ALL digital storefronts. At first I thought that maybe they'd replace it with a remastered collection, that has happened before. Or relase a completely new game in the series. But... nothing, they're just GONE.

In anticipation of Embark's Arc Raiders I'm giving this game a try a gain. It started off a bit rough but apparently it's in a really good place now and one of the better free to play multi-player games to get.

Another unique physical game release for the collection. It's all three original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games on one disc. This Japanese edition is unique as it seems to be the only physical edition for this trilogy bundle. It included English too. Got it from Playasia.
