ICE didn't even exist until 2003. INS handled immigration enforcement before that, and they're perfectly capable of doing so again. Frankly, I'd go further: we need to wind down DHS and restore cabinet positions to the agencies it absorbed (like FEMA). It's a failed experiment.

Technically they can't *prevent* gallivanting. They just prohibit it so they aren't responsible for any injuries you incur in the process. Gallivant at your own risk.

The change dramatically lowers the annual and aggregate borrowing limits for both undergraduate and graduate degrees *during a deepening staffing shortage*. It's especially galling because Chiropractors and Theologians (hardly in short supply) maintained their professional degree status.
November 21, 2025 at 6:17 PM
A key driver of the nursing shortage is the lack of nursing professors. Nursing professors require at least a Masters degree. The downstream effects of this short-sighted shitshow will be catastrophic.

*Chiropractors and Theologians* maintained their professional degree status, but nurses didn't. Fuck this administration to hell and back.
