The cruelty is the point. Let me repeat that. The cruelty is the point. They are dehumanizing these kids, these people so that we get desensitized to it. We already are. We should be in the streets. This is disgusting. A little girl with a bow in her hair. Is she really the 'worst of the worst'?
In San Antonio today, plainclothes ICE officers (not masked this time) arrested, handcuffed, and zip-tied a family of five (yes, ALL of them, including the little children) coming out of their immigration court hearing — which ICE had just had dismissed.

While I appreciate the "lock him up" and "impeach him" sentiments (and I'm with you), if Mueller, Garland, and impeachment taught us anything, its that 1) SCOTUS is corrupt and 2) We have to do this ourselves. As I've been saying for nearly 8 years: it's up to us. Always has been.

This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!
