The Dallas ICE office is involved in a mass removal effort targeting nearly 200 people — many without removal orders — scheduled to be deported to El Salvador today.

This is not just cruel – it is lawless. I refuse to stay quiet while families are being torn apart, and lives are being put at risk.

The Trump administration is alleging to the Supreme Court that nationwide injunctions like the one imposed on his executive order ending the Birthright Citizenship clause are inappropriate and illegal, and that judges shouldn’t be allowed to enjoin executive branch actions in such a broad manner.

How do we care for our communities to get through? I love this picture book for children (and adults) to help us understand transformative justice.

I’m slowly moving over to this new platform…The first is from last year when I drove to Pleasanton for a fundraiser. The second is from a book I just started reading by Prentis Hemphill titled “What it Takes to Heal”. The last is getting me through hard days of 2025 so far. Thank you Tricia Hersey!
