Please repost so that a lawyer might see it and help write the petition for all 50 states.
We need to petition every state to get on the ballot in 2026 to rìd of the electoral college. At the time it was created, it was needed. Yet now we need every vote to count. If someone would create the petition in Nevada,I would go door to door until we have enough signature for 2026 election.

Went to my 50th year high school reunion a while back, accepted friend requests from a lot of people I went to school with, a suburban high school in Memphis, people I had had no contact with for 50 years, and THAT’S why I ultimately had to deactivate my account and leave Facebook.

I’ve lived through many catastrophic events in US history, the Kennedy assassinations, MLK’s assassination, I’m gonna throw Lennon’s murder in there, too, 9/11, and now 11/5/24, and maybe time will change my mind on this, but right now I feel the last one is the most catastrophic of them all.

This is me, entirely. Before joining Bluesky, I avoided anything that might reference 11/5. Still won’t watch the news, because I don’t ever want to hear the sumbitch’s voice again, even accidentally.
I’m trying to strike a healthy balance between being informed and being oblivious.

Trump is not playing 3D chess with cabinet picks. He wanted Gaetz and thought he could bully Republicans into confirming him. Same with Hegseth. He doesn't have a mandate or a large enough majority to install these clowns. Gabbard and RFK are also going to be huge issues. He doesn't have the votes.
