See the problem with protest social media blackouts is you can't even recognize the privilege you have in being able to not participate in capitalism or community.

You're abandoning local and international mutual aid, fire resources, disabled people, and other voices that need to be heard.

I thought it'd be more depressing but it feels like taking control of an out of my control situation.
