I wish various news sources had an option to pay by the article... And something inexpensive. Odds are good I'd possibly click on enough articles at 25 cents to get close to a subscription. But I can't subscribe to every great regional newspaper out there. And the 1-3 freebies a month is annoying.

There are families who will never be able to come back from this devastation, and many of them were in generational homes, passed down from people who bought homes in the 1970sand 80's in Altadena. All of the fires are a tragedy, but especially for those who don't have the resources to rebuild.
