Senator Andy Kim just went to the USAID building, talked to the security guard there to confirm employees are being barred entry, and then did a press gaggle right there in front to call it out.

This is doing something. This is making an effort on messaging. Other Democratic lawmakers: take notes.

Normal reporting won’t cut it in these times. The follow-up questions need to be:

- Who’s acting
- What position do they hold
- Are they paid by the govt
- What’s their legal authority to act

What’s being described as govt policy is really just a combo of breaking and entering and grand larceny.

i said a few times here and there before the election that we’ll see what the mass deportation plan looks like when it’s ICE agents dragging grandmothers out of churches and, well, here we are
Minutes ago, the Trump admin revoked the sensitive locations policy that prevented ICE from carrying out enforcement arrests inside churches, hospitals, and schools.

NORTH DAKOTA IS TRYING TO DEEM CONVERSION THERAPY “ethical”
This is vile. Conversion therapy is abuse and it does not work.
A panel of lawmakers considered two bills Tuesday that could have sweeping impacts on LGBTQ rights in the state: one requiring North Dakota to recognize only two genders and another authorizing social workers to offer conversion therapy.

Absolutely heartbroken over the loss of Bob Uecker. Mr. Baseball was the sound of my childhood summers for as long as I can remember, listening to the Brewers with my dad out in the fields. He will absolutely be missed.

To be clear: I don’t condone violence.
However: the death of the UHC CEO + BCBS’s waffling around anesthesia coverage is impacting legislation.
HB 1089 filed by Rep. Hauter ensures that all medically necessary anesthesia is covered by insurance regardless of the procedure’s duration.

Wow. When the 911 call came in about the shooting at the Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, officers were training for literally this type of scenario 3 miles away. "So what began as a training day became an actual thing," the Madison police chief said.

Let that sink in.

Even though I haven’t lived full-time in Wisconsin since 2019, my accent still pops out every so often. Today’s example: the wind chill was not pleasant on the evening walk with the dog. I said to my pup “keep ‘er movin’ dere guy” no less than 6 times.
