Tbf to Thatcher she absolutely hated the Archbishop of Canterbury’s sermon at the Falklands Memorial Service but conceded that Runcie’s Military Cross and service on D-Day and liberating Belsen meant he’d earned the right to say what he wanted about warfare and reconciliation.
