I started getting sick today while on a road trip with my mom & sister. I’ve never seen 2 women turn into nurses so fast. They’re debating about where to get medicine at midnight. They refused to let me help make the pull out bed even though I’m the one using it. I’m not used to this & it’s weird…

So, I’ve started playing Ghost of Yotei. Perhaps I’ve listened to too much @worldsbeyondnumber.bsky.social. Every time I find a fox, Atsu immediately turns into Ame in my mind & I’m just like “now all is right with the world.” I’m half expecting one of them to go “bye boss😏” before running away lol

I love that my cosmere group (which is all guys except for me) were throwing out ambush ideas & one of the guys says that he could be a damsel in distress, which led to this moment:
Me: I appreciate you not making the one girl in the party the damsel.
Him: Are you kidding, you’re brawny as hell! 😂

So, I’m incredibly scared of bugs, which means I about had a heart attack when I found this thing on the dog’s medicine. Managed to get it outside and then looked it up. Apparently this is a wheel bug, which is a type of assassin bug. Why is nature trying to kill me 😭😭😭

I discovered this morning that the goat farm near me has a booth at the farmer’s market and I somehow managed to snag their last thing of cranberry chèvre. Y’all, this stuff tastes so much like Christmas that I’m just eating it with a spoon at this point. Who needs crackers?

I need some #daggerheart advice. I just ran my first adversary with a reaction feature. RAW, it sounds to me like you can choose to use that feature *every* time the trigger occurs. Is that accurate? Or have I missed a limit somewhere? I can’t find any guidance beyond what’s in the book.

I just built the final boss for the Daggerheart mini campaign I’m going to run! I can’t wait to see my players reactions when the pied piper (who I’m imagining as skull kid from twilight princess) suddenly turns into the Galian Beast from FFVII cause they broke his flute😈

Tonight my group wrapped up a game we’ve been playing for well over a year in a system I’ve only ever dm’d for. It’s been a blast and I’m so happy I got to run it. But I’m now so over it because in two weeks we’re starting a new game in the same system and guess who finally gets to be a player🥳!!!

You know what’s an interesting thing about being an adult that no one tells you about. At a certain point, that silly platitude about someone’s presence being the only gift needed becomes true. My birthday was this past weekend & the best gift I got was my brother & niece coming from CO to visit.
