IT’S HERE!!! I’ve been a play-tester for the Cosmere RPG for so long and now I have the finished product!!! And it’s BEAUTIFUL!!!
The three main Stormlight books of the Cosmere RPG are spread out on the floor. Stonewalkers is on the left, the Stormlight Handbook in the middle, and the Stormlight World Guide is on the right. The Stormlight Handbook is open to show the Edgedancer skill tree. A picture of an Edgedancer in shardplate is on the left half of the first page and the three branches of the tree take up the rest of the page and the entire second page. Why is there a hole in my shawl??? That’s like 25 rows ago!! Thank god I put in a lifeline…
A mostly finished red lace shawl with a hole where I apparently didn’t knit the last border stitch in a row together with the appropriate edge stitch from the main body. There’s a good two inches knit correctly on either side of the hole.

So, I’m incredibly scared of bugs, which means I about had a heart attack when I found this thing on the dog’s medicine. Managed to get it outside and then looked it up. Apparently this is a wheel bug, which is a type of assassin bug. Why is nature trying to kill me 😭😭😭

I’m on vacation this week and my cross stitch is making major progress!! There was just the top threeish lines of the outline a couple of days ago!

I got to see baby goats today🥹

Weaving is just so satisfying. I’m getting better at it every day, mostly because the hyperfixation has firmly taken hold. I keep pausing AC Shadows to do a few more rows. I’ve played maybe 10 hours of that game but most of it’s in the menu because my brain demands I weave instead lol 🧶

I’ve been practicing & I’m so pleased with my progress! Every video I watched talked about checking your tension but I didn’t understand how. So I just mimicked them & eventually had an “oh that makes perfect sense” moment. Finally getting that (& the right yarn for my reed) made such a difference.

Ok, weavers of bluesky, I have a question. I’m messing around with my practice starter project & noticed that I can’t see my warp threads in between my weft anymore. Why? I’ve spotted a couple other mistakes that I could logic out what I did, but I have no idea what I changed to cause that. 🧶

Ok….so…..I might have caved on the loom. But, I didn’t buy the wax polish I need to finish it, so I haven’t been able to put it together yet. While I wait for that to arrive, I’ve been cross stitching almost non stop. Look at the progress!!

I told myself when I first started thinking about buying a loom that I need to finish 2 cross stitch projects first. I’ve now dropped that down to 1. It’s getting harder every day to not cave & just buy the damn thing. In the meantime, look at how much green there is! That wasn’t there last week!

The way this box is packed is so satisfying. I forgot what was in it, so when I opened it I just went “oooooh, it all fits so well….”

My friends and I moved like 95% of my stuff today. Basically all that’s left is big furniture and a couple of odds and ends. I am so tired…..
