FEMA is issuing a reminder that eligible families only have until September 30, 2025, to apply for reimbursement.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has been providing up to $9,000 reimbursement for funeral expenses related to COVID-19.

If you’re seeking information on cremation care for your loved one, it is perfectly acceptable to ask if the crematory is on site or if the funeral home uses a third party crematory at another location.
