Industrial process heat contributes about 1/5 to Europe's carbon emissions.

<5% is currently electrified even though the potential is >90%.

How can we move from potential to implementation? Join us today in our event with @agoraind.bsky.social to find out.👇

Renewables means less shipping
- a ship full of solar panels displaces 100 future coal shipments
- a ship of solar panels displaces 50 LNG shipments
@iea.bsky.social report shows future tech has already reduced global shipping needs 10% in a decade

The liars, of course, have all moved on to new cons & deceptions. The fishing industry can't. A vaguely honest media would be holding Farage & the rest to account for this instead of promoting a meaningless petition...

Why do we keep believing the promise of carbon capture when it keeps failing to materialise? @ketanjoshi.co on the false prophet that is CCS.

Today I introduced this in Parliament. It’s time the Big Tech giants were made to manage their algorithms to make our online experience safe, time we stopped asking users and parents to be the solution to social media harm. The operators of these platforms should step up. My Bill would achieve that.

Today, November 25th 2024 is the day we officially learned that justice in America, in fact, does NOT matter. #sad

Where were the dozens of leading articles on Grant Shapps, who used fake names in what some have described as a “get rich quick” scheme? And continued this work when he was an MP?

Shapps held 9 ministerial positions for the Tories over 14 years.
Almost impossible to imagine a similar article being written about a male (read: any other in history) Chancellor.

One argument in this article includes a man saying her master’s course wasn’t very hard. And that because she ‘only’ got a 2.1 at Oxford, she shouldn’t have got in.
