I just realized I don’t have a proper intro post here. I’m Mel, I build things in The Sims 4 and occasionally hyperfixate on other cozy, sim, management, strategy type games. Trying to figure out the whole CC creation thing, too.
I think I'm going to take this WIP I never finished and try to adapt it for Gibi Point... It's got a lot of CC, but I think I don't need most of it anymore. We'll see how it goes. #sims4adventureawaits

Honestly, every time I start building something in Planet Coaster (or Planet Zoo) I give thanks for how easy it is to build in The Sims 4.
Is The Sims more limited in what you can build? Sure, kind of, but maaaan building is so slow in Planet Coaster.

1. Back up your saves
2. Either go offline until mods are updated or remove your mods
And most importantly, not harass modders about when they’re going to update. Happy update everyone!

What everyone wanted: another timed event for the Sims 4! From Sept. 23 - Nov. 4, this one looks like it will be centered around kids.
I've softened on these, but I wish they would add the items into base game after a time, because it's hard to share builds with event items. #thesimsnews #sims4

PSA if you have an infant and can’t place objects in build mode
Yesssss! This is the dumbest bug. If you have an infant on the lot and they're still attached to the baby mat, before you go to build mod eyou have let them run through that dumb animation where they sit up and lay back down. But it'll keep happening. And you'll have to go back to live mode and...

I like that The Sims team is latching onto systems that clearly scale well (custom events, custom venues, custom [thing]) - my problem is the UI that is becoming so bloated with content that it is becoming impossible to grasp where to start with all the options.
